When Cici goes to stay with her grandfather Leonard, his house, on a cliff in Cornwall, starts sinking into the ocean… Sail the House Home invites audiences to join Cici and Leonard on a fantastical adventure with electric planes, talking soil and Norwegian glaciers to save their home, showing both of them what it means to re-build in the rubble of what once was…
Made in conversation with young people about climate change and the future, Sail The House Home is a magical adventure about love, grief, connection, and play.
A Work-In-Progress version of Sail The House Home went up at Southwark Playhouse in May 2025 as part of November Theatre’s Artistic Associate Residency on the FORGE program. We are currently developing the next steps of the project.
